The New York Early Music Celebration 2007 is a fall feast of music from the 11th through 18th centuries, presented by New York-area early music performers. Concerts, recitals, lectures, master classes, and special events will take place in beautiful, historic, and unexpected venues all over the greater New York City area.

New York Early Music Celebration 2007 will:

• Showcase and publicize the wealth of the New York historical performance scene
• Attract new audiences for early music
• Stimulate the media toward greater awareness and more informed coverage of New York early music
• Increase awareness of the City's wealth of performance venues

The following New York City and State-based enterprises are invited to participate:

• Professional historical performance artists/ensembles/organizations
• Education organizations/institutions
• Recreational societies/guilds/clubs
• Religious affiliated choirs
• Presenters of historical performance events
• Others by approval
